If City defeats Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday and Inter Milan in the Champions League final on June 10, they will have won the Premier League for this season.
United is the only English club to have completed such a Treble, having won each of those trophies in 1999.
Haaland, 22, stated that making this history would be surreal.
Haaland feels he can be the final piece needed to ensure success in the biggest competition in European football for City, despite their local supremacy.
We don't need to hide that this is the reason they acquired me, Haaland said to BBC sports editor Dan Roan.
"Everything would depend on it. I'll use every effort to attempt to make it happen. My greatest dream, and perhaps it will come true.
But it's also not simple, he continued, because there are two finals against good teams who will do every effort to undermine it.
They'll be fired up and prepared, so we need to play our best game since doing so gives us a great opportunity of succeeding in that goal.
Under manager Pep Guardiola, City passed Arsenal this season to claim a third straight Premier League championship.
"We've been chasing it the whole season, so when we won the Premier League it was a big relief," said Haaland, who scored 36 goals in the top division this year.
"Now that we only have two finals left before the break, that's all we can concentrate on,"
I'm 196 cm tall, and people will see me because of my beautiful blonde hair.
Since moving to City from Borussia Dortmund last summer, Haaland has enjoyed an incredible debut season in English football.
With his total, he surpassed the Premier League record for most goals scored in a season and finished the year with 52 total goals.
The Norwegian international is the first player to win the Premier League Player and young player of the Year honors in the same season, and he has been voted the Football Writers' Association (FWA) Men's Footballer of the Year.
One of the most famous players in the game thanks to his accomplishments, Haaland says his strategy for handling his fame is to embrace it.
Haaland replied, "It's wonderful, it implies I've done something correctly.
"Of course, my life has altered; I can no longer lead a normal life. I can't complain because that is how my life is.
"I make an effort to relish each and every moment, and so it is.
I stand 196 cm tall, and since I have long blonde hair, everyone will be able to see me. That is the way my life is now. What should I do?
"I can do nothing; that is my life. All I can do is make an effort to have fun. When I'm at home and surrounded by kind people, I try to unwind. Try to just have fun in my life.
Haaland thinks he has improved "a lot" this season but says he can still develop "from my right foot to my left foot to my heading, from the build-up play - everything".
Since I'm still so young, "I've been developing in a really positive way, and that's really important for me," he said.
"I'm 22 years old, have a long career ahead of me, and still have room for growth. When I was considering my next step more than a year ago, I was also considering that.
Haaland is aware that Manchester United will be "motivated" because they want to defeat their local rivals to increase the number of times they have won the Carabao Cup this season and to prevent Manchester City from matching their Treble.
