The singer, who is best known for his 2010 single Alors On Danse, said last month that he will postpone performances until the end of May due to illness.
Following the pause, Stromae claimed he had wanted to resume touring.
However, he informed his followers on Tuesday that he "won't be able to honor my promise" since his rehabilitation was "taking longer than expected."
The 36-year-old has not provided any further information on his health, just stating that he "felt [his] health take a bad turn" a few months ago.
In a statement posted to Instagram, Stromae said: "I was hoping I would be able to get better fast so that I could begin touring and to meet you again as soon as possible. I was surrounded by my physicians, my family, my friends, and my team.
"Unfortunately, I must concede today that my recovery period will take longer than I had anticipated. I am very sorry that I won't be able to keep my word, therefore I'm declaring the Multitude tour's conclusion today.
While making this choice was challenging, it was also necessary for my recovery.
Paul van Haver, better known as Stromae, was initially scheduled to perform last week at London's Wembley Arena before touring around Europe.
He apologized in the statement for any "missed encounters" with fans as a result of the canceled performances.
After a seven-year break, the entertainer, who is among the most well-liked French-speaking performers in the world, resumed performing in 2022.
Prior to that, he quit performing in 2015 after canceling a tour of Africa as a result of fatigue and prescription side effects for malaria.
