After Phillip Schofield acknowledged having an affair with a young male colleague and lying to cover it up, The Prince's Trust terminated his position as an ambassador.

The King-founded organization declared that working with the presenter was "no longer appropriate".
The connection was discussed in a statement Schofield, 61, released last Friday along with his departure from ITV.
It happened a week after he left his job as a co-host on ITV's This Morning after rumors of a falling out with Holly Willoughby.
Schofield issued an apology, calling her repeated lies to conceal her connection with the male colleague "unwise but not illegal."
ITV declared that it was "deeply disappointed by the admissions of deceit" made by Schofield and claimed that it has severed all connections with the host.
According to the network, it looked into reports that Phillip and a younger worker were dating in 2020, but both parties "repeatedly denied" it.
Additionally, Schofield's entertainment agency, YMU, fired him.
Schofield's statement, according to ITV, "reveals that he lied to people at ITV, from senior management to fellow presenters, to YMU, to the media and to others over this relationship," they added.
He won't be presenting the British Soap Awards next month because of his departure from ITV.
Additionally, he won't be the star of a brand-new prime-time series that the network stated they were creating with him last week.
According to a Prince's Trust representative, "We have agreed with Phillip that it is no longer appropriate to work together" in light of his recent revelations.
